Gameplay

In Norsaga, you'll play cards to describe your heroic ancestors and prove yourself worthy of accomplishing great feats. Use thematic embellishments to alter your story in crafty ways while trying to undermine your opponents.

Check out the Norsaga page for an in-depth look at the game's cards and mechanics.

Hero cards have dominant and recessive traits. You'll need both to complete your family tree and tell your story! A hero's traits also determine what embellishment powers they let you use.

Even functionally identical cards have unique names, personas, artwork, and poems recounting their past exploits.

Each player receives a saga card for the story they're trying to tell. Different sagas require different traits in your family tree before anyone will believe you're telling the truth.

Every saga has two opposing versions. Pair them up and see whose version really happened!
